U.S. weather data

This compilation of weather data and climate normals is from ThreadEx stations. They make up the primary source of U.S. weather records. With greater length and more accuracy than most global weather data, NOAA has long been a leader in the field.

ThreadEx histories are comprised of multiple nearby locations, “threaded” to create a full record to the late 1800s in many instances.

There are currently 425 locations in this group. Bolded city names are daily climate information for the period beginning the year in parentheses.

CSV data files will be updated during the first week of each month.
